My name is Patrick Tugend and my mission is to help you achieve your goals through the vehicle of Real Estate Ownership & Environmental / Energy Efficient Planning.

I am a third generation San Diegan born and raised in Coronado. From growing up here my major strength comes from my local knowledge and understanding of San Diego’s unique neighborhoods. I honestly love all of San Diego but my expertise really lies in the coastal regions.

I am an avid supporter of the Green Home Movement and I feel this is a unique moment in time in America, and especially in San Diego, with regard to sustainable and energy efficient home retrofits and construction. Green Technology and modern lifestyles have finally found a common ground where Green living has become affordable and highly sought after.

Growing up, my family has always promoted a Green lifestyle. My mother was instrumental in the development of the recycling program for the city of Coronado and my father has been working as an active Real Estate Eco Broker in the south bay for the last 30 years. Growing up in a Green household meant that this style of living was ingrained in me at an early age. Because of this, it only seems natural that I became licensed as a San Diego Eco Broker and currently working on obtaining a Green Designation from the National Association of Realtors. I’m doing this so that I am able to bring you the most comprehensive Green expertise when it comes to the home buying process.

In business, as in life, I value quality over quantity. Rather than being just a transactional agent working for commission alone, I chose to be a consultant who worked by referral only, ensuring that my success is dependent upon the success of those I help. I really want to provide you with the best experience possible by investing myself in your unique situation and finding out how I can help you the best way I know how. I have made a conscious effort to keep my active client list small in order to focus my all energy and time where it should be, and that’s helping you.
